3 Shows I Wish I Could Binge Watch on Netflix

Netflix Binges. I've done it. You've done it. We've all done it. And yet there are a few shows out there that are surprisingly missing from the experience.

Every time I finally finish bingeing a new TV Show, or if I'm struggling to fill in the gap when my favorite shows go on mid-season break, I'm always on the lookout for another show to fulfill my binge-watching needs. Sadly, a few of my all time favorite shows that come to mind aren't available. So here are my top three shows I wished I could binge-watch next on Netflix.

1. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

BRUH. I mean come on, this one's a no brainer!!! To this day so many of us collectively have such a deep love for this show, especially my fellow 90's babies. I mean what other show out there has a theme song that literally EVERYONE and their mom knows by heart? Take a moment to listen to the opening sequence one time and tell me you don't know every single word.

Shut up. Yes you do. Don't lieeee!!!

Being a show that started on TV years before I was born, I only really caught a handful of episodes here and there throughout the years in the form of reruns when I was growing up. I've always wanted to see Will's full story, from beginning to end. Wouldn't you?

2. Avatar: The Last Airbender

If you asked me to name one of my favorite animated series' of all time, I'd pick this show. While I really enjoyed it's follow up series, "The Legend of Korra", who could forget the one that started it all?

Now unlike my other two picks, this show was actually available on Netflix for some time a few years back until it was removed, much to my disappointment. I fell in love with the heart and amazing storytelling that this show brought when I was first introduced to it in high school. Much like what I love about a most Pixar movies, even though this show was made for kids it told a story that resonated with older audiences too -- college students, and surprisingly even some of my aunts and uncles. It gave us characters to fall in love with and root for, and an interesting world of magical powers and creature hybrids to get invested in.

I'd definitely love to go on that journey with Team Avatar (or "The Gaang" as I like to call them) all over again.

3. The Simpsons

With a staggering 27 seasons (and counting!), this show would undoubtedly be an impressively long, nostalgic binge session. This is the show I grew up on man! It's forever the reason why I can't help but say "Thank You, Come Again!" in the voice of Apu whenever I go to 7-Eleven. I use to watch re-runs every night with my brother back when The CW network was still UPN. I even bought a few DVD sets of the first few seasons. Thinking back, I think watching those DVDs was the first time I ever sat and binge watched a show ever, before Netflix was even a thing! This show will always hold a special place in my heart. Because while it has it's share of laughs, at it's core it still has the elements of family values, love, and life lessons that newer primetime animated TV shows like "Family Guy" simply don't have.

Bingeing this show would honestly be a lovely trip down memory lane for me and my brother. And it would also be an excellent build up towards seeing what my favorite animated family has been up to in recent seasons too. (I haven't had the chance to watch them yet)

Get the rights for these shows already, Netflix!!

Well that wraps up my top three picks. What three shows would you like to see on Netflix? Let me know down in the comments!
