WELCOME TO THE SHOW!

“Bdubz Open Mic” is a monthly open mic series that I have hosted since 2017. It currently runs every month at Eastridge Center in San Jose, CA on every third Friday of the month, and select Fridays throughout the year at Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View, CA.

Performers from all around the Bay Area and beyond have come to share their talents with us on our stage. If you or someone you know is interested in performing, feel free to check out our sign up form below to see what spots are available.

Sign ups generally open about a week or two in advance before each show, so make sure to check back often to grab your spot!

RULES/GUIDELINES

AMESWELL HOTEL REQUIREMENTS

For all Ameswell Hotel events, these special rules apply for all performers:

  1. Music Acts Only

  2. All acts must be FAMILY FRIENDLY

  3. Acts must be live and perform with live instruments. (No bluetooth or AUX in)

  4. No music stands/lyrics on stage

  5. Bring your own Instruments

EASTRIDGE CENTER

For all Eastridge Center events, these special rules apply for all performers:

  1. All performance types are allowed (Music, spoken word, stand-up, dance, etc.)

  2. All acts must be FAMILY FRIENDLY

  3. Bring your own instruments

  4. If you have any backing tracks, you must email them to hello@brian-dublin.com at least 2 days before the event.

Main List Performers

Performers must check in between 6-6:30pm PST before the show starts. Performance order is first come, first serve and determined by when you check-in.

  • Once checked-in, please make sure you are present and ready to perform when it’s your turn. The host will announce performers who are up next. If you are not present when called, we will move on to the next person and you will be moved down the queue.

  • If you are unavailable for a second time, your spot will be forfeited and passed on to a waiting list performer unless you have already reached out to make arrangements to perform at a later time.

  • Performers who are not checked in by 7pm PST will forfeit their spot to a waiting list performer unless you’ve already reached out to make arrangements that you will be coming in late.

**If for any reason you are checked in but need more time before you’re ready to perform, let us know what’s going on and we will try our best to accommodate you**

Waiting List Performers

Performers who sign up after the main list is full will be added to the waiting list. Once the main list performers have finished, waiting list performers will be allowed to perform until it’s time to close the show for the night.

If a Main List performer can no longer make it, the performer at the top of the Waiting List will be UPGRADED to the Main List.

**Please note that if you are on the waiting list you are NOT guaranteed a spot to perform**

The sooner you are checked-in, the higher chance you will have of performing.

Be sure to check-in as soon as possible to increase your chances of performing.
