Coming out and being in the closet is one of the hardest things I've ever been through. There's a lot of pain and a lot of struggle. But most of all there's a lot of fear. It's not only a journey of self-acceptance. It's also a journey of hoping to find that same love and acceptance in the people you love the most.
I wrote this song to give me strength on nights when it would get really hard. I hope that by sharing it, it might give strength to someone else.
